When you have drank more liquor than your system is capable to handle. This can cause to you experiencing a hangover. Avoiding consuming an excessive amount of alcohol is the best remedy for hangovers. However, if there is a case where a person does get a hangover there are treatment that can be accessed to treat it. 1. One of the best remedies for curing a hangover is getting some good rest. Where your body can unwind and naturally rebuld itself.

2. Consume plenty of fluids such as tomato juice, orange juice (which is rich in vitamin C), Powerade or Gatorade. You may also try some vitamin C pills which helps the liver to dissipate alcohol.

3. Consume foods that contain minerals such as canned fish or pickles. Also eat plenty of fruits such as bananas, apples, oranges, melons etc.

4. Exercising also aids in relieving your body from a hangover. Exercising helps the body by getting rid of the toxins which cause the hangover in the beginning. Exercising supports good blood and oxygen circulation thus rejuvenating your body to its normal functioning.

5. Peppermint herb is a good remedy for treating your system from hangover. Peppermint helps to remove gas from the intestines with a carminative substance. The peppermint can either be drawn by boiling it to make tea or. Another option is to chew the leaf which aids your body to relax the stomach walls.

6. Heat up some water in a container until it becomes hot, a little below boiling point, then take five (5) fresh or dried leaves of thyme and lightly crush them out and place it in a cup. Add the water into the cup and place a cover on it for five (5) minutes then strain the tea to get rid of the leaves and drink.

7. If the hangover hasn’t ease down after sleeping, you can use 2 – 6 teaspoons of honey every twenty minutes after awaking. Honey comes filled with fructose which is a type of sugar that helps to counteract the effects of the alcohol.

Tip

* When attempting to recover from a hangover do your best to stay away from beverages that promote dehydration such as coffee that contains caffeine. These will only aid the dehydration process which will not help to decrease the symptoms of the hangover.
